It's not difficult to pick out my flaws in external scripts. I'm fully equipped with the knowledge of my shortcomings, you know?
Some days, though, I'm provided with the friendliest reminders from unnamed sources: Wilted flower petals. Weeds in a sidewalk. Echoes of anger. A broken bracelet. Fallen leaves of a willow tree.
It's so easy to remove the broken bits. Just tilt the lens a tiny bit, and the jagged seams disappear.
It's still a mirror. The angle simply hides the cracks from vision of objectivity.
