I scrawl confessions in a sandbox with my butterfly knife. Only to immediately erase them in embarrassment. I swallow the admitted revelation, silently and alone. It sticks in my throat like a bone shard. I try and tell myself that if I internalize enough of my own impromptu wisdom, I'll evolve like a pokemon. But he who is taught only by himself, has a fool for a master.
