I drive past a coastline city in silent reverence. The highway scattered with pills and intellectual rigour. Battered yellow roadside signs litter the shoulders. Divergent aortic arrows point cliffside across bitter beaches. Months-old trails show some pilgrimages gone heavenward. A lack of anonymity having solved corrosive biases. I drive on into autumn rainclouds alone.
