Dancing as evasion, amid the mass of babbling bodies. Wrong answers aren't wrong when they're the only answers allowed. Mindfulness is hard when plates are too full for tiny children's hands. And so, it becomes an initiation of the Still Face Experiment, ad infinitum. One million infants crushing a few dozen wary adults, and each other, into a gelatinous mass of learned helplessness. It is perhaps no coincidence that Shame is so easily transmuted into Blame.
